This 120 seat restaurant / bar in the heart of Kendall

Square was a collaboration between chef Gary

Strack, studioTROIKA, SOSO Limited (social media

algorithms), Theo Watson (street view sketches -

projection bombing), and various graffiti artists.

The brand concept for FbS was to blend food, art,

sustainability, and technology. The design features

custom light saber lights with warm color gels, tables

built from 1980s truck hoods, a bar made from the

wood of a 130-year-old New England barn that fell

during a hurricane, end grain wood floors, and a

reconfigured steel canopy / DJ platform floating over

the vestibule.
